R55

R55 is a series of botanical slabs — circular wall objects, 55 cm in diameter, each made by embedding dried plant specimens into a textured ground. The circle is a form without beginning or end. The plants were alive. Both facts are held inside the same object.
Every piece in the collection is unique. The compositions are arranged by hand in the studio, one at a time. No two are identical, and no print version exists.

The R55 botanical slab technique was developed by Joanna Jernajczyk in Nudiflorum studio and used for the interior of Mövenpick Resort & Spa Karpacz — winner of the LIV Hospitality Design Award 2025.
